Fringe Inter-School Music Competition 2024

Rules and Regulations

1. Contestants are required to arrive at the competition venue 15 minutes prior to the competition starts.
2. For all classes with specified age limit, contestants are required to bring along their I.D/passport for age                    verification at registration desk.  
3. Contestants requiring an accompanist should make their own arrangements.
4. Contestants must bring two copies of the music to be performed for the Judges.
5. Each contestant or team may be accompanied by one person. Additional audience must purchase a ticket,              except accompanist.
6. Competition organizing committee reserves the right to reschedule the competition if necessary.  In the case of      school suspension being instructed by the Education Bureau or severe adverse weather conditions,                          competition will be cancelled until further notice. 
7. Decision made by panel judges is final and should not be disputed.
8. Panel judges reserve the right to terminate one's performance. 
9.  Performance which exceeds the specified time limit may be terminated. 
10.  Audio and video recordings are not allowed.  The competition committee has all the copyrights  of the                      competition images.                                                    

11. All attendees of the competition are reminded to take care of their personal belongings. The organizing                    committee will not be responsible for any lost.
12. An administrative fee of $100 will be applicable for each amendment if made after the application form is                  submitted.
13. All application fees, surcharges, harp rental fee, tickets purchased and Contestant’s place are not refundable         and transferrable.
14. Prizes for each class will only be awarded if contestants reach the standard set by the organizer.
15. Contestants should not give any inaccurate or misleading information. Otherwise, the application will be                   disqualified. All personal information given by contestants will only be used for the competition.
16. The organizing committee has right to disqualify any contestant who violates any of the rules and regulations         stated above.
17. Deadline for applications is Feb 25th, 2024 (date of postal stamp).  Late application might not be       

      processed or might need to pay an administrative surcharge of 50% of application fee in addition to the             

      application fee.
18. Rules and Regulations are subject to change without prior notice.
19. Details of collecting comment sheets and certificates will be announced through the website of the                           association ( ) on 15th April 2024

1. 參賽者必須於比賽開始前15分鐘到達比賽場地,辦理登記手續
2. 所有已有年齡限制之組別, 參賽者必須攜帶附有近照之有效身份證明文件或旅遊證件,以便比賽場地之工作人      員作年齡核實
3. 參賽者如需要鋼琴伴奏,請自行安排
4. 比賽當日參賽者須提供比賽曲目之影印本兩份,以供評判作
5. 除伴奏外,每位參賽者或每隊參賽隊伍可由一人陪同進入比賽場地觀賽,額外觀眾必須訂購門票
6. 賽委會有權隨時更改比賽時間表。如遇上由教育局發出因惡劣天氣或其他特殊原因而需要停課之指示,所有當        日舉行之比賽將會全部取消直至另行通告
7. 對於評審委員所作出之最終比賽成績,任何人均不得異議
8. 評審委員有權於比賽中途中止參賽者的演出,參賽者不得異議
9. 如參賽者之演出超過法定時限,評判有權終止參賽者之演出
10. 任何人士不得於比賽場地內進行攝影﹑錄影或錄音,一切錄像版權均屬賽事委員會所有
11. 所有在場人士均須小心看管個人財物,如有任何遺失,賽事委員會均不會負責
12. 報名表格一經遞交,如參賽者需要修改任何資料,每項修改需要繳交行政費用港幣100元
13. 所有參賽費用﹑附加費﹑租用豎琴及訂購門票的費用一經繳交,概不退還,參賽資格亦不得轉讓給第三者
14. 如參賽者的演出未達到賽委會所規定的水平, 賽事委員會將不會頒發任何獎項名次及該名次之獎品
15. 參賽者所填報之資料必須屬實,如有違規者,其參賽資格將被取消。所有資料只會作比賽之用
16. 參賽者如有違反任何比賽規則,賽事委員會有權取消其參賽資格
17. 報名截止日期為2024
年2月 25日( 以郵戳日期為準) ,逾期報名或不會受理,或需要加報名費的50%作行政費

18. 主辦機構有權修改比賽規則,若有任何修改,恕不另行通知
19. 所有比賽者的評分紙證書之領取方法將於2024年 4月15日起上載到本會網站, 詳情請參閱本會網站
